HEAL Data Ecosystem at the 5th Annual HEAL Scientific Meeting

The 5^th Annual NIH HEAL Initiative® Scientific Meeting was held February 7-8, 2024. It included more than 800 participants from across the NIH HEAL Initiative®, including community members. The HEAL Data Platform, HEAL Stewards, and HEAL Connections teams ran the HEAL Data Ecosystem booth and participated in the event’s poster sessions. A report highlighting metrics and key takeaways from in-person engagement with investigators is being developed and will be linked here once finalized.

The HEAL Data Ecosystem booth featured members who assisted and encouraged attending investigators to register their studies on the HEAL Data Platform, complete their CEDAR study-level metadata forms, select HEAL-compliant repositories, submit their studies’ data dictionaries, and plan for research dissemination and community engagement. A prize raffle was held for those who registered on the Platform and submitted their CEDAR form, with additional entries provided for those who selected a HEAL-compliant repository or submitted a data dictionary by Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:59pm HST.
