This month’s Fresh FAIR webinar features Anthony Juehne of the NIH HEAL Initiative® presenting best practices for research reproducibility and data reuse throughout the research lifecycle. Juehne will cover the value of enhancing the reusability of data and materials associated with research results, recommendations for packaging data and digital assets with a scholarly publication, and the benefits to authors and the scholarly community more broadly. Implementing these recommendations maximizes the collective power of the HEAL Data Ecosystem in discovering safe and effective treatments for those suffering from pain and opioid use disorders.
Juehne will emphasize how enhancing the reusability of data and materials associated with research results aligns with the mission and vision of the HEAL Data Ecosystem and can enhance the impact of research outputs across the pain and addiction research field. The presentation will be followed by a moderated panel discussion and Q&A featuring Dr. Limor Peer of Yale University and Dr. Frank Rockhold of Duke University, as well as HEAL Stewards and HEAL Platform representatives.
