About this event

As a HEAL Investigator, your study is subject to specific data sharing requirements, but have no fear–we are here to help you understand the nuances of when and what to share and how they apply to your study. Join us for our next Fresh FAIR Tutorial to learn the basics of the NIH HEAL data management and sharing requirements, plus hear from repository representatives on requirements for different types of data.

The tutorial will begin with a presentation from HEAL Steward Sarah Myer walking participants through HEAL-related data sharing requirements, followed by lightning talks from HEAL-compliant repository representatives sharing specifics around how to share different types of data, including sensitive data. Participants will then have the option to join two breakout rooms based on your study's required level of data sharing: 1) standard requirements for packaging data to deposit into a repository, and 2) requirements for submitting summary/aggregate data to a repository. Add questions on this EasyRetro board (bit.ly/HEALEasyRetro_Oct17) no later than COB Thursday, October 10; make sure to give a thumbs up to any existing questions you want prioritized, as well.
