[HEAL Office Hours for Investigators] From Data Dictionaries to Repository Submission

Join the HEAL Data Ecosystem Office Hours on August 20, 2026, from 1:00–2:00 PM ET for an interactive session focused on creating data dictionaries and preparing data submissions. This office hours session will help attendees better understand requirements to complete HEAL PI Checklist tasks. Participants will also view newly developed data dictionary and data submission guidance documents and will gain clarity on variable-level metadata (VLMD) expectations, how VLMD supports FAIR data, and the steps in preparing data for deposition.

The session will include focused discussion breakout rooms: Breakout Room 1 will address data dictionaries and data submissions, and Breakout Room 2 will focus on HEAL Data Platform registration and analytic workspace use. By the end of the session, participants will know where to get help, how to begin generating or enhancing VLMD, and what to expect when submitting data to their selected repository.
